Did you know Olathe Station sponsors an annual art fair? It’s THE community event of the season, and you won’t want to miss it! This year, the Fair is scheduled for May 18th and 19th, and will run from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm both days.
The art fair is sponsored by the First Art Gallery of Olathe and the Olathe Visual Artists Association, a non-profit founded in 1978 to expand the enjoyment of fine arts within the Olathe, KS community. Their mission is to encourage, support and promote local artists through sponsoring exhibits, educational workshops, and providing display equipment for local shows. You can learn more about the organization on their website at: olathevisualartists.com.
Throughout the weekend, the Art Fair will feature live music, lots of food options, an activity tent for children, and special displays for up-and-coming local artists. The Olathe Civic band will be back as will favorites Paul Martveli and Terry Gann, and this year, there will be a Treasure Hunt with a chance to win $1000. You’ll find more than 60 tents setup on the Northwest corner of the newly updated Olathe Station retail center at 119th Street and Strang Line Road in Olathe, Kansas.
We look forward to seeing you there!
